we also don't live on base... and are shunned by the community we live in...

It's got it's highlights - but you have a way better support system.

Yea... we're not Army enough for Active...

And too army for civilians... you know? Its hard - especially in MA - where you know... we aren't super military supporters... or really supporters at all...

I don't think I'd do well on base. I'm not sure how Tauni survives there

especially since they're always like "oh but you're family you're always welcome here"
to lots of the girls whose hubbies arent in the military anymore or who lef their hubbs.

but then me, i just never really belong because he hasnt been in yet. but i thought it was supposed to be a support site to help people. . . in all stages.

my thoughts entirely. i think they should allow kids of military members too. i mean even if you are a teen or adult it can really affect you. my firend's dad was always being deployed and stuff. it was hard on her all through her teen years.
he's retired now and she's moved out, but you can tell it still gets to her. she's super wary of the guys she dates-- if they mention military she runs. poor girl.

yeah my bro's all hardcore and bada$$ about it. my dad got out ages ago well before i was an itch in his pants.

now my little bro acts all into it. i think it's maybe a consideration.

and why shouldnt it be since that's the ONLY way to get my parents to really like you. . . i swear if you're military you're like majorly favored by my parents. but i dont think it will help eric and i. . . i'm still the least fav lol i think. but i know they love me. . . even if they are hard on me. my mom once siad she's hard cause she expects more cause i'm a better kid LOL. yeah well okay but sometimes i wish i wasnt so i'd get off the hook!! geek
